Brussels, July 2024 \u2013 ALICE (Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe) has announced the results of its Executive Group elections, held during the General Assembly on 2-3 July 2024.<\/p>\n

Cristina Mart\u00edn Lorenzo, CEO of Usyncro, has been elected as a member of the ALICE Committee and from her position, she will continue to support the digital transformation of the sector, sustainability and the #WomeninLogistics<\/a> working group that she leads to give visibility and empower women in the sector.<\/p>\n

About this new responsibility, Cristina Mart\u00edn commented: \u00abI am dedicated to driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in logistics. My focus includes the promotion of digital transformation, green logistics, and empowerment of women in the industry. Through ALICE, I aim to drive meaningful change and foster a more inclusive and resilient logistics ecosystem.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Chair of ALICE<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Fran\u00e7ois-R\u00e9gis Le Tourneau<\/strong>, Vice President Corporate Responsibility at L\u2019Or\u00e9al For the Future, has been re-elected as Chair of ALICE.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his re-election, Fran\u00e7ois-R\u00e9gis said, \u00abOur role in ALICE as a publisher and strong promoter of the roadmap towards zero emissions logistics is increasingly recognised. Additionally, our supply chains are facing new and additional challenges as key enablers for European competitiveness and resilience. We will need to inform and encourage the European Union to address these challenges. I am committed to driving the decarbonisation roadmap, accelerating the Physical Internet deployment, and fostering strategic alliances to effectively manage our growth and complexity.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Vice-Chairs of ALICE: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Sergio Barbarino<\/strong>, Senior Director Research Fellow at Procter & Gamble, highlighted the importance of aligning decarbonisation with the Physical Internet concept. He remarked, \u00abWe need to reclaim the Physical Internet concept, not as a goal, but as an indispensable and innovative supply chain management tool to drive the decarbonisation transition and contribute to more resilient supply chains.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Andrea Condotta<\/strong>, Public Affairs, Sustainability & Innovation Director at Gruber Logistics, expressed his vision for sustainability and innovation, stating, \u00abI firmly believe that a different way of conceiving logistics is possible. My ambition is to promote ALICE as a key actor for the deployment of innovation and to support the creation of a collaborative logistics sector driven by sustainability.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Paola Cossu, CEO of FIT CONSULTING, shared her enthusiasm and vision for the future of ALICE: \u00abALICE is my logistics family. I am committed to driving the implementation of the Physical Internet, fostering collaboration, and promoting digital and physical interoperability. I also want to inspire more women to join and succeed in logistics, increasing diversity and innovation in our industry.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n
